Kat Von D is keeping busy these days as she gets ready to make the transition from reality star to singer/songwriter.
E! News reports that the sexy tattoo artist, who recently broke up with her man Jesse James (again) has been working on her first album.
"I've been passionate about music all my life," Von D told the Entertainment site. "I've been playing classical piano since I was six.”
Von D tells E! News that she is not clueless to the process of making music because “they're just different outlets to be able to be creative.”
"I think it's much like tattooing or the TV show or makeup, my clothing line, fashion," Von D told E! News.
Von D says her album will be “dark” and “tragically romantic.”
