Jonah Hill hospitalized from ingesting too much fake cocaine while filming 'Wolf of Wall Street'

Taking a massive amount of fake cocaine on the set of “The Wolf of Wall Street” sent Jonah Hill straight to the ER.

“I had to be hospitalized,” the actor revealed on “Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons.” “If you ingest that much matter into your lungs you’ll get very sick, and we were literally doing fake coke for, like, seven months, every day.”

Hill, who portrayed stockbroker Donnie Azoff alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2013 film, developed bronchitis for three weeks as a result of the fake drug, which was actually vitamin powder.

“I never had more vitamin D in my entire life; I could have lifted a car over my f–king head,” the 32-year-old said.

Hill has played his fair share of hard-partying characters — including arms dealer Efraim Diveroli in the dramedy “War Dogs,” out Friday — and counts on Red Bull and coffee to enhance those performances.

“It’s interesting pretending to be on drugs,” Hill shared. “I’ll use music. I’ll make a playlist for every scene, so I’ll try to make, like, music that [makes me feel] jittery and chaotic … and then just drink a ton of coffee and Red Bull.”
