Ever heard of a little Hollywood hit called “There’s Something About Mary” starring Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller?

The producer behind the flick was Frank Beddor and he helped create one of the most iconic films in Hollywood’s history.

Since that 1998 comedy, Beddor has been pursuing his other passion — writing. Beddor was also the mastermind behind the “Looking Glass Wars” trilogy, a series of novels inspired by Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland.” Not only did it become a sensation in both the UK and US, but it spent 21 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List, leading to the popular graphic novel series, “Hatter M.”

Does this mean Beddor is done with movies? On the contrary — he’s currently in preproduction on “The Juliet” for Warner Brothers.

But that’s not all he has up his sleeves for fans.

Watch the video clip above for Michael Tammero’s interview with the multi-talented artist. Beddor dishes on his success in writing, filmmaking, as well as what audiences can expect from this year’s “ultimate celebration of books.”
