George Strait may have hung up his touring hat, but his live show can live on forever in a soon-to-be released live album. On Sept. 16, Strait will unleash "The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium," a 20-track live album recorded at his very last concert.

"The Cowboy Rides Away" was recorded live at Strait’s final show, June 7, 2014 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Both the show and the album celebrate and commemorate the country crooner’s more than 30 years in the music industry and include some of the biggest names in country music paying homage to a true country legend.

The one-night event features performances of Strait’s myriad of hit songs by special guests including Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson and Martina McBride. Strait’s son, George “Bubba” Strait, Jr. was also introduced at the final concert, dueting with his dad on the hit song, "Arkansas Dave."

The current holder of the ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year awards, Strait’s final tour lasted for a record-breaking two years, leaving more than 1 million fans in its wake. "The Cowboy Rides Away" live album captures the energy and emotion found in every performance from the King of Country and is a sweet sendoff to the legions of loyal Strait fans who have loved the country star since "Unwound" burst onto the scene as his first single in 1981.

Along with the live album, fans can relive Strait’s last show at AT&T Stadium with a two-hour "George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away" concert special airing Aug. 29 exclusively on CMT)
