'Game of Thrones' star Lena Headey details close calls with Harvey Weinstein

“Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey revealed Tuesday that she had her own disturbing experience with Harvey Weinstein in an elevator — and when she rebuffed him, he warned her to keep her mouth shut.

“He whispered in my ear Don’t tell anyone about this, not your manager, not your agent. I got into my car and I cried,” the British actress wrote on Twitter. Headey, who plays Queen Cersei Lannister on the hit HBO series, said in a string of tweets that she first met the disgraced movie mogul at the Venice Film Festival in 2005.

“At one point Harvey asked me to take a walk down to the water, I walked down with him and he stopped and made some suggestive comment, a gesture, I just laughed it off,” Headey, 44, wrote.

“I was genuinely shocked, I remember thinking, it’s got to be a joke, I said something like… oh come on mate?!?? It’d be like kissing my dad !!”

She said she saw Weinstein again years later in Los Angeles.

“I had always carried the thought that he’d never try anything with me again,’’ Headey said. “I believed he respected my boundary.”

She was wrong.

Weinstein “said, let’s go up to my room, I want to give you a script,” Headey wrote.

“We walked to the lift and the energy shifted, my whole body went into high alert, the lift was going up and I said to Harvey, I’m not interested in anything other than work.

“He was silent as I spoke, furious,” Headey said.

When the pair left the elevator, “His hand was on my back, he was marching me forward … I felt completely powerless.’’

Fortunately for Headey, Weinstein’s hotel key card wasn’t working to his room, she said.

He angrily walked her back to the elevator, “holding tightly to the back of my arm,’’ she wrote.

Weinstein then ordered her to keep quiet about what had transpired between them before he left her, she said.

Headey included in her tweets a swipe at director Terry Gilliam, who oversaw her in the 2005 “The Brothers Grimm’’ flick — although not for sexual harassment.

“(during shooting, I was subjected to endless bullying by the director Terry Gilliam),’’ she injected while writing about Weinstein.
