Fox411 Playlist: Ringo Starr turns music video process into a competition

Ringo Starr went the unconventional route while searching for someone to create a music video for his newest single "Wings" by turning it into a competition. Filmmakers were given the opportunity to send in their entries to be chosen by Universal Music Enterprises and some of the world's most influential artists. Starr congratulated the winner, Jem Gerard, in a video statement on his website.

"Wings" is the first single off of "Ringo 2012."

While Gerard was celebrating his win, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were reunited with five guitars that were reportedly stolen.

Police have arrested a security guard after the instruments went missing from a sound stage where the band was rehearsing. The lead singer took to Twitter saying, "No questions ASKED just want them back." Luckily for the band and fans his wish was granted.

In other Twitter news, Nicki Minaj bid farewell to the social media mini-blogging site and her 11 million followers after a fan site started leaking tracks off her new album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200.
