In this week’s Fox 411 Country Roundup, several country stars talk with us about their new music.

Vince Gill is proud of “Guitar Slinger,” an album on which he gets personal with a couple of songs written about people he knew, and collaborates with his wife Amy Grant and their daughters.

Gill said the gals earned their cameo on this album thanks to their singing talent. “Even though the fact that it's my family on there - my kids and such, I'm really more interested in the sounds they make, the sounds their voices make, what I want to hear on those songs,”  he said.

Gill also kept this album close to home by recording in his new home studio. “We took two rooms and made it into one room which has the control room, and we just gather in there several of us will be in there, and we sing in the hallway," he told FOX411 Country.

Toby Keith stopped by to tell us all about “Clancy’s Tavern,” the title track from his new album that tells a story from his life.

"My grandmother's nickname was Clancy and when the lady she worked for at the supper club sold out, my grandmother bought the place… so I called it Clancy's Tavern,"  he told FOX411 Country. He also talks about adding another patriotic song to his collection.

Finally, Miranda Lambert's new CD “Four the Record” features collaborations with husband Blake Shelton to her fellow Pistol Annies band-members Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe. Lambert is heading into another busy week with “The 45th Annual CMA Awards” on November 9th.  The singer is the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and is nominated again this year in the same category.

Be sure to check back with Fox 411 Country next week for more with the stars and our complete coverage of "The 45th Annual CMA Awards".
