Country singer Jake Owen’s engagement news kicks off Fox411 Country this week.  The star popped the question to his girlfriend Lacey Buchanan on stage at a sold-out benefit concert in Florida April 7th during a performance of his song “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You.”

We bring more news with the happy couple, plus we bring back “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” for our featured song of the week, co-starring his new fiancé Lacey.

And speaking of hit songs, Rascal Flatts keeps turning out hit albums!  The country group’s latest debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart, No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the first single off “Changed” called “Banjo” is already a Top 10 Country radio hit.

Joe Don Rooney told Fox 411 Country the group is really proud of the project, saying, “it’s our 8th studio album and we feel we’ve really said something with this album.”  They sure have!

Rascal Flatts also recently told us about their partnership with General Mills, the Outnumber Hunger campaign to help Feeding America which we highlighted in last week’s Fox 411 Country Round-up.

In other charity news, Brad Paisley’s wife Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley told us about her effort to help the non-profit teaming up with the “Fighting Hunger Together” campaign between Feeding America and Wal-Mart.

Williams-Paisley also told us about life at home, and how she and Brad make sure family is their first priority, “we love being around the kids. We love keeping the family together as a unit. It does get crazy but we just take it one day at a time and balance it as best we can.”

Rounding out the roundup, we congratulate Keith Urban, who was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry.   Urban received his invite during his April 10th “We’re All for the Hall” benefit concert. He will be the first artist from outside North America to become an Opry member when he is formally inducted April 21st.
