Lionel Richie’s country duets album “Tuskegee” claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, kicking off our Fox 411 Country Roundup.

The project is at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart for a second week.  The music icon can boast this new collection is approaching that gold certification mark too.

Others who have gone Gold in the past week include both Carrie Underwood and Lee Brice with singles “Good Girl” and “A Woman Like You” respectively. Luke Bryan achieved RIAA Platinum status for “Tailgates & Tanlines” – selling the requisite 1 million copies. We bring back Bryan’s Platinum single “Country Girl (Shake It For Me) for our featured song of the week to mark the occasion.

In baby news, it’s a girl for country singer Joe Nichols and his wife Heather!  The couple welcomed daughter Dylan River Nichols into the world April 17th.  It’s their first child.  In a press release sent out by his rep Joe said, “this gift is not something we take for granted” Adding, “we are going to try to be the best parents possible.”

Dave Haywood becomes the last member of the Lady Antebellum trio to leave single life and tie the knot!  Haywood wed Warner Bros Records executive Kelli Cashiola on April 14th.  On the group’s twitter they gave a shout-out to the happy couple saying, “It was a beautiful weekend for our Lady A family. Congrats to Dave & Kelli!!”
