Police arrested a former Miss Indiana pageant winner Wednesday on several charges including public intoxication, FOX 59 reports.

Officers responded to reports of a woman banging on an apartment door, yelling "let me in," for approximately 30 minutes.

Police said 2013 Miss Indiana winner Terrin Thomas smelled strongly of alcohol and had slurred speech.

Thomas said she was attempting to find her boyfriend's apartment but failed to give his number to the responding officers.

When Thomas, who was not wearing shoes, attempted to leave the area after not listening to police she was placed under arrested.

    Thomas was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.

    Thomas represented Indiana in the 2014 Miss America pageant but failed to make the top 15.
