Motherhood changes any woman and for first-time mom Jordana Brewster it was all about protecting her son.

“I didn’t realize I’d be such a hypochondriac as a mom,” the 33-year-old Brazilian-American actress joked in a recent interview with Wonderwall. “It’s flu season in Texas, so I haven’t taken him out that much on set.”

Brewster, who welcomed son Julian via surrogate in September 2013, added that she is not opposed to having more children in the future. She is married to film producer Andrew Form since 2007.

“Absolutely! (I’d like) two or three (more),” she said. “I saw two or three because there’s always the possibility of twins.”

The “Dallas” actress also spoke about overcoming the deaths of two co-stars, Larry Hagman and “Fast & Furious” love interest Paul Walker.

“It’s definitely been a year of high and lows,” Brewster said. “The biggest highs and the biggest lows.”

As for what is coming up next in her hit TV show, the actress could only gush.

“I’m on the best show because it’s an ensemble and luckily I don’t have to work 24/7 every day,” she said.

She continued: “This has been the most fun season by far. This season is a little bit darker. (Elena’s) just got more to grapple with.”
