Earlier this week Pop Tarts broke the news that Vivid Entertainment was preparing to release an explicit sex tape and tell-all interview starring Mindy McCready. However the country crooner is now looking to take legal action to stop the unauthorized video entitled "Baseball Mistress" from being released.

"We are not aware of the production or release of the alleged film that seems to have surfaced via various media reports,” her attorney Adam Dread said in a statement. "However, we can confirm that any illegally- obtained property, and/or fabricated footage, and the release thereof, will be dealt with swiftly following proper legal procedure."

However, Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, isn’t concerned about a possible lawsuit surrounding "Baseball Mistress."

"We acquired the McCready video awhile ago and feel comfortable with our legal position to distribute it. You really have to see it to believe it," he told Tarts in an exclusive statement. "If Mindy wants to discuss the video, she should feel free to contact me."

However, a "teaser" to the highly-anticipated XXX video has already hit the web and shows snippets of the 34-year-old "Celebrity Rehab" contestant getting down and dirty with an ex-beau and revealing intimate details of her relationship with baseball star Roger Clemens.

On the note of releases, just last week McCready’s album "I'm Still Here" dropped, marking her first studio album since 2002.
