Eva Longoria has teamed up with Will Packer to co-produce a new multi-camera comedy for NBC, according to Deadline.

Longoria and Packer, who is known for producing movies with African-American leads like “Ride Along,” will be producing “Bonita & Mechelle,” a sitcom centered on two women – one Hispanic and one African-American – who find themselves living under the same roof and conquer the ups and downs of single life and parenting.

No word yet on who will take the leading roles.

“Bonita & Mechelle” will be produced by Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment and Will Packer Prods, which have deals with Universal TV.

This is the second project Longoria’s company has penned for NBC. Currently, the comedy series “Hot & Bothered” is in production with Longoria as one of its stars.
