Donald Sutherland likens Jennifer Lawrence to Jesus

Hollywood’s golden girl, Jennifer Lawrence, has a heavenly effect on her co-stars.

Donald Sutherland, who stars with the actress, 24, in the “Hunger Games” films, loves her so much, he’s compared her to Jesus Christ.

“When I worked with her, I realized the child was a genius,” the legendary actor, 79, who plays President Snow in the film series, told E! News Tuesday. “She’s the right person at the right time in the sense of Joan of Arc or Jesus Christ, any genius, in that sense.”

Lawrence’s acting credits include the X-Men series, “Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle.” She’s also racked up a number of major awards, including two Golden Globes and an Academy Award
