Apparently, “The Hoff” has had enough hassle.
David Hasselhoff posted a video to social media on Thursday, announcing that he had legally changed his name to David Hoff.
“I’ve been wanted to drop the hassle from my life for years,” the 63-year-old former "Baywatch" star announced. “Now, I have made it official: David Hoff.”
But did he really?
A rep for the actor told ET that the name change is for an Australian ad campaign, but we can’t imagine calling the "Knight Rider" star by anything else.
More importantly, will he have to get a new catchphrase to replace "Don't hassle The Hoff?"
