Country music singer and ex-"American Idol" contestant Kellie Pickler is the champion of this season's hit dance competition show, "Dancing With The Stars". Pickler has joined the ranks of 15 other celebrity dance champions.

Season 1--the season that started it all, crowned "General Hospital" star Kelly Monaco its winner. Season 2 had its first male winner, “98 Degrees” singer Drew Lachey. From that point on, seasons 3-6 had all athletes as winners such as Apolo Ohno and Kristi Yamaguchi. Season 7's winner, television personality Brooke Burke, broke the athlete streak.

Other notable winners include singers Donny Osmond, and Nicole Scherzinger of the “Pussycat Dolls”. In season 11 Jennifer Grey was the winner, which felt rather appropriate considering her “Dirty Dancing” fame. Retired soldier, actor, and motivational speaker J.R. Martinez won season 13.
