Brooke-Burke Charvet has been cut from "Dancing with the Stars" she revealed on Twitter reports TVGuide.com

Just prior to her announcement, the former winner told E! in a statement, "I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting DWTS but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture. I've always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations the ballroom but this one takes the cake."

It is unclear if anyone will replace Burke-Charvet. The model won Season 7 of the show with Derek Hough before replacing Samantha Harris as co-host alongside Tom Bergeron starting in Season 10.

This is the second major shakeup to occur before the ABC show's 18th season. Last month, the show announced it was parting ways with its longtime bandleader Harold Wheeler and that former "American Idol" bandleader Ray Chew will be the new music director and composer.

Season 18 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres on March 17.
