Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies Talk 'Outlander'

If you love sci-fi, romance and kilts (yes, kilts!), get ready to get hooked on "Outlander," which premiered on Starz earlier this month.

The series, based on the bestselling novels by Diana Gabaldon, first takes place in Scotland in 1945. It follows Claire Randal (Caitriona Balfe), who is honeymooning with her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies), when she is mysteriously transported 200 years back in time.

She suddenly finds herself caught in a battle between the Highlanders and Redcoats. However, a Scottish warrior, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughen) swoops in to save her. Let the adventure begin!

Balfe, Heughen and Menzies stopped by Fox News Magazine to give us a sneak peek at the first season of their new show, along with a few pointers for donning a kilt in the 21st Century.

Watch the video above to see what they had to say, then tune in to "Outlander," Saturdays at 9 p.m EST on Starz.
