Bruce Jenner will be on the cover of July's Vanity Fair magazine

In the pictorial, Jenner will be photographed as a woman, which the former Olympian has called “Her.”

During the two-part "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special that aired on E! earlier this month and filmed earlier this year, the 65-year-old told stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian he was planning to fully transition “probably in the spring.”

Since Jenner’s well-received "20/20" sit-down with Diane Sawyer aired in April, his family, friends and stars like Lady Gaga, Laverne Cox and Ellen DeGeneres have been vocal about their support.

The timing for Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover couldn’t be more perfect. It will come just as E! readies its new docu-series documenting Jenner’s gender transition and its effect on those closest to him. The eight-part, one-hour series will debut July 26 at 9 p.m. on E!

Leibovitz, who most recently photographed the "Star Wars: The Fore Awakens" cast for Vanity Fair, has snapped some of Hollywood’s biggest stars over the span of her decades-long career, including Michael Jackson, George Clooney and Queen Elizabeth II.
