Bobby Brown’s faith may be a huge factor in why he hasn’t made any moves to take daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown off of life support.

According to TMZ, the R&B singer who fathered Bobbi Kristina with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston is praying for a miracle and ignoring doctor’s recommendations that he take the 21-year-old off of life support.

The Brown family is reportedly very religious and TMZ reports Bobby Brown is especially hopefully because someone in his extended family once woke up from a coma after eight days.

Through his lawyer, Bobby Brown denied reports that the family was gathering to say their goodbyes to his daughter.

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day," Bobby Brown said in the statement obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place."

Meanwhile, Clive Davis, who was Houston’s mentor, told the Associated Press he is praying for the singing sensation's only child.

"Of course it's heartbreaking to see the family go through this pain once again," Davis said.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face-down, unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. She has been hospitalized ever since. Houston drowned in a bathtub in 2012.
