American Music Awards Features Strong Latino Presence

Nobody can deny the Latino presence at this year’s American Music Awards. The ceremony scheduled for tonight at 8 p.m. EST at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Ca., will have a variety of Latino celebrities.
These include Rock Guitar legend Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Christina Aguilera who all will take the stage tonight.
Aguilera, who is of Ecuadorian descent was recently awarded the 2,423 star in “The Walk of Fame” on Hollywood Boulevard. Her new movie “Burlesque” comes out Wednesday.
Enrique Iglesias along with “She Wolf” Shakira, and reggaetón star Daddy Yankee have been nominated for “Favorite Artist” in the Latin Music category.
