Alec Baldwin five nights a week?

NBC apparently thinks more people might want to watch the former "30 Rock" star than watch Carson Daly, according to Deadline.com.

The website said there have been "conversations" about moving Baldwin into the 1:35 am slot, where Daly has hosted "Last Call" for the last 12 years.

A move into the struggling network's final half hour of original programming could be a step up for Baldwin, who currently hosts a podcast called "Here's the Thing."

The move would be part of a major shakeup in NBC's late night talent pool. Jimmy Fallon will be taking over 'The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno in February, while a new host for Fallon's old show, "Late Night," has yet to be named. Speculation currently centers on "Saturday Night Live" star Seth Meyers, who hosts that show's popular news segment.

A source close to NBC disputed the Deadline.com report when contacted by The New York Post.
