For Candace Cameron, it's been a wild first season on "The View."

“This is one of the craziest election years I think any of us have ever known," she told FOX411. "It’s just so wild. I always think to myself ‘What a year for me to have joined ‘The View’ during this political race for the presidency.’”

Bure, who joined the show in 2015, revealed that it can be hard to be the only conservative host on the show.

"I realize sometimes I am the lone conservative or lone Republican sitting at the table somedays. And somedays it’s hard to not have backup but we are all there to share our opinions and I think that’s one thing that about me, I don’t get hot headed.”

The "Fuller House" star said though discussions can turn contentious, she doesn't think her co-hosts mean any harm.

“I don’t take any of it personally," she said. "I don’t think really any of the women are on the panel mean it personally. We all have different opinions that is why we are there."

Bure aims to be open and honest with her co-hosts.

“I believe in what I believe but I love being open and listening to others and it doesn’t matter to me at the end of the day whether we agree or not,” she explained. “I believe in healthy conversation, and that’s what I always try to bring to the table. I don’t get overly impassioned or angry with someone who doesn’t agree with me, that’s just my personality.”

Bure said she is still making up her mind about the upcoming election. The actress has previously expressed her disappointment in Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

"I am actually still very undecided as to what I am going to do as far as voting," she said. "I hope over time it isn’t as much of a circus, and we really get into the issues, and I look forward to hearing the candidates be [the] best presidential self they can be. I think that’s really going to help me determine where my vote goes.”

When she isn't busy with "The View," Bure spends as much time as she can with her children. She enjoys watching her kids play sports, she said.

“I am a mom. I have three kids, all of my kids play sports,” she said. “My two boys are AAA hockey players but they’ve grown up playing tennis, my daughter played competitive tennis."

She recently teamed up with Canon and as part of the initative she will head to the Little League World Series with her kids this summer and throw the first pitch at the game.

"I’m all about being a sports mom and I’ve taken millions of photos for them over the years," she said. "This is really fun Canon is bringing families together creating quality memories that we all enjoy for a lifetime.”
