Los Angeles County prosecutors say Jason Schumann, of Calabasas, was charged Wednesday with one count of murder in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Francisco Javier Rodriguez Jr.

Prosecutors will ask that Schumann's bail be set at $2 million at his arraignment later Wednesday.

No charges have yet been filed against 19-year-old Elizabeth Ibarra. She also was arrested for investigation of Rodriguez's murder and is being held without bail on a parole violation.
