    Mitt Romney is the son of former Michigan Governor, George Romney. Mitt served as the governor of Massachusetts from 2002 through 2007. In 1984 he founded the investment firm Bain Capital and while the firm flourished, he worked as CEO at his consulting firm Bain & Company. Mitt is credited with rescuing the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics by revamping the organization as it was on the verge of collapse. He unsuccessfully ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008. Mitt and his wife, Ann, have five children.
