As if Venezuela didn't have enough problems already, the nefarious Marvel Comics Supervillain Red Skull has been seen roaming the streets of the country's capital, Caracas. Too bad Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has too much animosity to call the U.S. to send down Captain America to fight his arch-nemesis.

Venezuela isn't actually dealing with a genocidal, Nazi madman. Henry Damon, 37, has undergone a series of surgeries and tattoo jobs to make him look like the comic bad guy Red Skull.

Damon, a father of two who now officially goes by the name Red Skull, has had several subdermal implants put on his forehead, had part of his nose removed and even had his eyeballs tattooed black and his face tattooed red in an attempt to resemble the Marvel Comics' villain.

The Venezuelan Red Skull saw his opportunity to transform himself into the vicious villain after meeting med-school dropout Emilio González, who specializes in tattooing and extreme body surgery. Before going under the knife, Damon had to go to undergo a series of physical and psychological tests.

"He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got around to doing it," Damon's friend Pablo Hernández said, according to the Daily Mail.

Despite his ghoulish looks, people say that the Damon is actually not like his Nazi comic book persona.

Red Skull first appeared in the comics in 1947 as the Nazi agent and arch-enemy of Captain America and most recently appeared in the 2011 film "Captain America: The First Avenger," where he was played by Hugo Weaving.

"Henry aka Red Skull is a physically and intellectually healthy person," González said. "He's an excellent son, husband and father, who has an extreme taste for body modification."

Damon, however, has not completed his full transformation to Red Skull.

"Next will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin and cheeks," González said, according to The Mirror. "Then we will tattoo his entire face red and then he will be Red Skull."
