What exactly is going on between Jennifer Lopez and Maksim Chmerkovskiy?
The 44-year-old singer and the 34-year-old “Dancing with the Stars” performer have played down the romance rumors that have been swirling since Lopez’s break up with Casper Smart went public.
But the two were spotted together at a nightclub in Connecticut after one of the singer’s concerts at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, according to several reports.
E! News reported that the duo was spotted in the VIP area of the venue’s Shrine club with her entourage and his friends.
“They parties and seemed really at ease together,” a source told the website.
A source told the New York Post that “they were close all night and appeared to be very flirtatious.”
“Maks was whispering into her ear and hugging her,” Us Weekly reported. “They looked very flirty with each other … She had a huge smile on her face and looked like she was having a great time.”
Chmerkovskiy and Lopez met in November 2013 when they performed together at the American Music Awards during her tribute to Celia Cruz.
During a recent Twitter chat, Lopez revealed she is not dating anyone.
As to her recent breakup with Smart and the rumors that he cheated on her with a transgendered model, the singer told “The Breakfast Club” radio show, “I don’t have to say whether he did or didn’t. It’s not about that. It’s about what we know. We’re still friends… You can’t believe everything you read.”
