As the viral Ice Bucket Challenge continues to gain the attention of a wide variety of celebs, Justin Bieber found himself set to take the cold-water challenge after his manager Scooter Braun nominated him to do so. But some fans are crying foul after the Biebs did the challenge sans ice.

The idea is simple, people are pouring buckets of ice water over their heads to help raise awareness and spur donations for the ALS Association. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Stars like Conan OBrien, Steven Spielberg, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Seacrest all completed the challenge with lots of ice in the water they poured on themselves.

Twitter users took notice when Bieber didn't seem to be using any ice in his two attempts at the challenge and for his first try he didn't use a bucket either. Instead, he poured a pot-full of water over his head.

After the first try, Bieber nominated President Barack Obama, Ellen DeGeneres and comedian Chris D'Elia.

He then gave the Ice Bucket Challenge another go and nominated his Belibers --aka his fans-- to do the challenge. Still, it didn't go unnoticed that his skipped out the ice for his second try too.

The pop star ignored the criticism and opted to retweet plenty of messages from his fan who shared that they had completed the challenge and/or donated money to the cause.

Though many stars have completed the challenge with obvious buckets full of ice and water, Bieber is not the only one who appears to have skimped on the ice. Its hard to spot the ice in Jennifer Lopez and Tori Spelling's videos of the challenge as well.
