The company dismantling the Costa Concordia cruise ship says workers have discovered human remains believed to be that of the last missing crew member.

The Ship Recycling company said the remains were found Monday in a cabin on the ship's eighth deck. The remains were being turned over to Italian authorities for identification.

The Concordia capsized after hitting rocks near a Tuscan island in January 2012, killing 32 people. All have been accounted for except an Indian waiter.

The ship has been towed to a port in Genoa, where it is being dismantled.

The ship's captain is being tried for manslaughter, causing the shipwreck and abandoning the ship.
