Ukraine's interior minister has released a video of Tuesday's session of the Ukrainian Reform Council which turned into a water-throwing spat.

Tuesday's incident has highlighted tensions between the Ukrainian government and independent reformer figures like Odessa governor Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgia's former president.

The video that Interior Minister Arsen Avakov released Wednesday shows Saakashvili shout to Avakov across the round table that he is a "thief" and that the whole country knows about it. Avakov then tried to mock Saakashvili's stutter and threw a glass of water at the former Georgian president sitting a few chairs away. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko initially tried to call for order and asked Avakov to avoid profanities but in the end called the meeting closed.

Poroshenko's spokesman on Tuesday upbraided both for the incident.
