Authorities say that six of the 28 people injured after a hot air balloon crashed outside Slovenian capital remain in critical condition.

Four people were killed after the balloon with 32 people in its basket was swept up in a storm and crashed in a ball of flame on Thursday.

Police spokeswoman Maja Adlesic said Friday the victims have not been identified yet because their bodies were charred beyond recognition.

Adlesic said 11 people have been released from the hospital. She says two Italians and two Britons were among those injured.

Hot air ballooning is popular in Slovenia taking tourists for panoramic views of the Alpine scenery.
