Mile-High Brawl Erupts During Flight on Virgin Air

What was supposed to be a flight to paradise turned into "Fight Club" 30,000 feet up onboard a Virgin Air flight.

At least 12 British passengers are being questioned by Barbados authorities after a massive brawl broke out during the flight, according to the Daily Mail.

The fight -- which lasted nearly a half-hour -- left one man with a black eye and a woman in a sling.

The brawl reportedly started between members of a group travelling together on the plane. A witness said that fight began when one woman had a problem with another passenger.

"It was unbelievable. It was something like out of a movie," 70-year-old Elsa Brandford told the Daily Mail.

"It was vicious. It was frightening. There were punches going off in all directions. I never expected to see something like that. But as it went on people came round to try to split them up and about half an hour later they had it under control," she continued.

Barbados police tell the Mail that they are still interviewing suspects and airline staff and that the investigation is still ongoing.
