Malaysia police: Ferry capsizes after it hit rocks in river on Borneo, some passengers missing

Malaysian police say an unknown number of people are missing after an overloaded ferry capsized when it hit rocks in a remote river in Borneo.

District police chief Bakar Sibau says the vessel was believed to be carrying much more than its recommended limit of 74 passengers.

Bakar says there appeared to be dozens of survivors in Tuesday's accident but he could not give precise figures.
