Journalist kidnapped in southern Mexico found dead
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Mexican authorities say a reporter who was dragged from her home by armed assailants in Veracruz state has been found dead.
The government of Veracruz says in a statement that Anabel Flores Salazar's body was discovered Tuesday on a highway in the neighboring state of Puebla. The corpse was identified by family members.
Flores Salazar was a crime-beat reporter for a local newspaper in the Veracruz city of Orizaba. She was kidnapped at her home near the city before dawn Monday.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}At least 15 journalists have been killed in Veracruz since Gov. Javier Duarte took office in 2010 and three more have disappeared.
