Honduran opposition candidate Xiomara Castro says a lack of oversight at many polls during last week's presidential election allowed the vote to be inflated in favor of the ruling party candidate. She accuses some small political parties of selling their poll workers' spots to the National Party.

Castro, whose husband Manuel Zelaya was ousted in a 2009 coup, is demanding a full recount of the vote and urging her supporters to take to the streets Sunday.

Honduras' electoral court has declared conservative Juan Orlando Hernandez the winner of last Sunday's presidential election. The court says he received 37 percent of the votes compared to 29 percent for Castro, with 96 percent of the votes counted. Six other candidates shared the remaining votes.
