The Greek managers of an oil tanker missing off southwestern Africa for nearly a week and thought to have been attacked by pirates say they still have not established contact with the vessel.

Dynacom Tankers Management said in a statement Friday that it is working with "relevant agencies and authorities" to get in touch with the Kerala and ascertain its condition.

The 75,000-ton vessel was last seen off Angola on Jan.18, and Dynacom said it suspected pirate action. The company did not provide details on the Liberian-flagged ship's crew or cargo.
