Bolivian President Evo Morales kept very busy during his visit to Iran – signing bi-lateral accords on energy and mineral exploration here, denouncing U.S. imperialism in a televised speech before the Iranian parliament there – but the highlight of his visit has to be the indoor fútbol  match starring Morales, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and a supporting cast drawn from the Iranian national squad.

According to Iran’s state news agency, INRA, the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Ahmadinejad scored a goal on a penalty.   Morales, who was caught on tape kneeing an opposing player in the groin in a “friendly” game a few weeks ago, was not reportedly involved in the foul.

And here is the tape of Morales' “friendly” game (and unfriendly penalty) from a few weeks ago.
