British Jail to Have Prisoners Drive Each Other on Trips

Male prisoners at Sudbury open prison will drive female convicts on trips from jail, according to The Sun.
Critics have panned the move as "crazy."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}According to the paper, all prisoners will be "risk assessed" and be accompanied by an officer. The prisoners chosen will be nearing their release date.
"It's a crazy scheme. Even with a staff member in the vehicle, it's fraught with danger," a jail insider told the paper.
