A terrorism suspect has told Indonesian police about a plot to set off bombs and shoot police in a town in Central Java.

In a video of his testimony released Friday at police headquarters in Jakarta, 22-year-old Bayu Setiono said he and five others planned to wage "holy war" in the town of Solo.

Setiono was arrested in Central Java last Friday in a raid in which two suspected militants and a member of the elite anti-terrorism squad were killed. Police have accused the group of killing a police last week and attacking two police posts in mid-August.

Setiono and the others are alumni of al-Mukmin Islamic school co-founded by Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir.

Two of the group were killed, two arrested and two are still at large.
