12/13/2013 - New York, NY, USA: Johnny Davis, sitting on the sidewalk in the cold at 42nd street and the FDR, friday morning in frigid temperatures was noticed by NYPD Transit Bureau officer Carlos Ramos, on assignment across the street. Officer Ramos stopped and gave him a sweater off his back. Davis said he has been on the street for a couple weeks, since a fight with his roomate, and was afraid to return home.
