8-Month Old Girl Found in Trashed-Out Car
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}What started off as a routine traffic stop ended with a startling discover of an 8-month old-girl buried under a pile of clothes and a skateboard.
Wednesday night, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputies went to check on the driver of a car at Loop 494 and FM 1314 in Porter that apparently stopped in the roadway for no reason.
When deputies started talking to the driver, 40-year-old Jessica Barber Gutierrez of Kingwood, she admitted to drinking a beer earlier along with taking Prozac and Xanax.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}When deputies started looking through the car, that was crammed from floor to ceiling with stuff , they discovered an 8-month-old girl under a pile of clothes and a skateboard.
Gutierrez was arrested and deputies took her and the 8-month-old to the Constables office.
The little girl was turned over to Child Protective Services. During an interview, Gutierrez also said she had a 12-year-old child that she left with her soon to be 21-year-old roommate but couldn't remember the room mate's name.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Gutierrez was transported to Kingwood Regional Hospital for a blood draw and then booked into the Montgomery County jail where she is being held on a $25,000 dollar bond.
