Mexico City authorities say six people, including two minors, were shot to death inside a home in the capital in a possible dispute among drug gangs.

Mexico City Attorney General Rodolfo Rios said Tuesday that the killings late Monday in Cuautepec could be revenge for last week's slaying of an alleged drug dealer.

The northern neighborhood of Cuautepec is near Mexico state, which in recent months has seen an increase in killings linked to drug cartels.

Mexico City officials insist that drug cartels don't have a presence in the capital like they do in other states and point out to the fact that massacres and grenade attacks haven't happened in the city.
