The system moving from the Northwest into the Central Rockies and Central/Northern Plains will bring heavy snow and blizzard conditions today and tomorrow. Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings are posted as over 12" of snow and wind gusts over 55mph are likely.
On the warmer side of this system, flood watches are posted across portions of the Central Plains as heavy rain is expected. Severe weather is also possible including large hail damaging winds and tornadoes over parts of the Mississippi and Tennessee river valleys.
