Three agents injured in Northern California shooting
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Federal officials say three Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have been shot and injured while serving warrants in the San Francisco Bay area.
Television news reports that a shooting broke out during the operation in Petaluma around 4 a.m. Thursday.
The federal agency says they were shot during an operation that is part of an ongoing criminal investigation, and that a suspect is in custody.

The agents were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
News footage showed dozens of officers -- some in SWAT gear -- are still at the scene.
