Lawyers for Colorado theater shooter James Holmes are objecting to how prosecutors want to begin arguing that Holmes should be executed.

Jurors will first hear from prosecutors, who want to show jurors a slide show including pictures of all the victims. Holmes' lawyers say the slide show is inflammatory.
Prosecutors and the defense are expected to spend about a month making their cases for why Holmes should be either executed or sentenced to life in prison.
