Robbery? No, thanks. Clerk, customers refuse to be robbed
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}It seems the clerk and customers at a South Carolina tobacco store simply refused to be robbed.
Anderson County sheriff's Capt. Garland Major tells local news outlets a man entered the Tobacco Jungle shop Sunday evening, wielding a gun and demanding money. No one listened to the would-be robber and he left with nothing.
Major said the clerk wrestled with the man, who then turned his attention to store customers. They also refused to give him money.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Major said video footage showed the man wielding a "musket-style" handgun - something that appeared to be a cross between a pirate gun and a sawed-off shotgun. It wasn't immediately clear whether the gun was loaded.
Police say the man is thought to have driven off in a car parked near the store.
