{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police records show the investigation into the killing of a pediatric dentist is focusing on a Dallas woman who formerly dated the dentist's boyfriend.
Documents show investigators believe the 33-year-old woman may have orchestrated the shooting last week of 35-year-old Kendra Hatcher in the parking garage of her apartment complex.
The ex-girlfriend was arrested over the weekend on traffic warrants and later released. She has not been charged in Hatcher's death.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Twenty-three-year-old Crystal Cortes was arrested Saturday and charged with capital murder.
Records show that Cortes told detectives the former girlfriend paid her $500 to drive an unidentified man to rob Hatcher.
The woman had dated Hatcher's boyfriend until earlier this year.
