Pizza Delivery Driver Helps Save Regular Customer's Life

A Tennessee pizza delivery driver saved an elderly woman’s life after the business noticed she wasn’t calling in for her daily order – and suspected something was wrong.

Susan Guy, a Memphis Domino’s pizza employee, often delivered resident Jean Wilson’s usual order of a large pepperoni pizza.

"She treats us really well," Guy told WMCTV. "She appreciates us, and that's something we don't get in customers a lot."

After Wilson didn’t call for three days, Guy visited her house Monday and called 911. Police broke down the door of house and found Wilson lying on a floor inside.

Wilson told them she fell on Saturday and was unable to reach a telephone to call for help. She was hospitalized, but here condition wasn't considered critical.
