An NYPD cop put on a show from his patrol car in Manhattan on Saturday — singing a Backstreet Boys tune over the intercom.

Officer Richard Gunther belted out “I Want It That Way” by the boy band while he and his partner were in their patrol car parked in the East Village, according to video that captured the goof.

Gunther’s singing of the ’90s pop music over his radio was enough to make New Yorkers smile and appreciate the NYPD.

“That’s going viral for sure,” a female onlooker can be heard saying on the video.

The Instagram user who posted the video said it brought a smile to his face.

“The NYPD absolutely nailed it today,” Jordan Haskins captioned the video. “So cool to see the humanity in our law enforcement. A small thing like this can really give you some hope in such uncertain times.”

Gunther wrote back, saying he was happy he could provide some comic relief while on the job.
