Mom accused of chaining her four kids to their beds

A North Carolina mom allegedly chained her children to their beds before locking them inside their room, WBTV reports.
Authorities responded to a Charlotte home Tuesday and found a bed in the hallway with “two metal linked chains on each end of the bed with small master locks attached to them,” a search warrant said.
While at the scene, officers found pictures on the woman’s phone of four children with chains around their wrist and waist.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Officials also found bruising on the children that was consistent with being constrained.
30-year-old Melissa Gonzalez is charged with 15 counts of false imprisonment and 15 counts of child abuse with serious physical injury.
